Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actor. Her debut on screen was by appearing in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. Can speak French, German, English and Romanian fluently. Her mother is professional violinist. The father of the family is an actor and theater instructor at one Romania's leading theatre schools. The actress acted as an actress from Romania in Romanian actress in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 3 days (four months, three weeks and two three weeks and two days) that was honoured with an award of the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, she was a part in the film by Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. She was also in 2008 as Yasim Anwar for the BBC 5-episode mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca made an appearance in an episode of the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's award-winning Five Minutes of Heaven. Then, she played an important role in 2014's Fury in which she played Irma who was the German maternal aunt to Emma.
