Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American producer and actor, is known for playing in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in theater, film and TV. Her acting career began in the theater. Later, she was a part of several television shows in independent films, mainstream and films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. She started her career as an actress in 1995 when she played Ariel in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include the Broadway production of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her role in the series Men of Honor and The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. She is also well-known for her part in ABC's crime drama High Incident.
